My Time

Tuesday, January 27, 2004

Hey guys, some slow days here recently. We got our body armor today, which can mean that we are leaving in as little as a week. But no one here thinks that. We are pretty sure we're still leaving late February, at least I hope so I can see my family and Amy and my friends. But we'll see. I wanted to take a second to say thank you to those of you who were praying for my cousin. She was in a fire a couple days ago and they flew her down to GA's burn center. She is now doing very well and going home, I’m sure there's still some recovery that has to happen, but we're all glad she's alive. I'd also like for you all to remember her friends that died in the fire along w/ the 4 other people that lost their lives and keep their families in your thoughts and prayers. As far as I know, her boyfriend is also doing better, but still in serious condition, so please keep him in your thoughts and prayers also.

My surgery is tomorrow at 0930 so here we go. It’ll be my first time under the knife and the first time I’ve been knocked out for an operation so I’m a little nervous, but mostly I want it to hurry up and be done w/ so I can recover and stop hurting all the time. Well it may be a few days until I can get back to a computer, ill try to get someone to get on for me tomorrow and let all of you know how it went, but until then, God bless and take care.
