Operation Iraqi Freedom

My Time

Friday, May 21, 2004

Hey everyone. Things here are pretty normal. We started getting hit again, but very very slightly. Nothing major. I think one hit near the PX the other day but didn't even expload. Which gives EOD more work. Other than that, mail is coming in steadily and time is going by faster and faster. It seems like it was Sunday just a day ago and it's already rolling by again. Not fast enough, but fast nonetheless. Well, I guess that's all I really have, sorry it's boring but thank you so much for keeping up. Enjoy the new pictures. Thank you all for your support and prayers and God bless.

Hey everyone. We got some time off today because the mail did not come in. This used to be normal but now that we get a lot pretty much every day, it kind of worries us because now it means we'll probably get a lot more tomorrow. But I guess more work means faster days. Which by the way are flying by now. It's great. Things here are good, nothing really new, still pretty quiet. All the new pictures are up so enjoy those and I'll send some more when I find something to take a picture of in this place. Thank you all for your support and God bless.

Hey everyone. Things here are about the same. We've had a couple of controlled blasts in the past couple days but still no attacks. Controlled blasts are when EOD, or anyone, finds a UXO and destroys it themselves so no one can be hurt. They are safe but still loud. I'm mad because I didn't get any of the sound on video tape, but I will hopefully get the next ones if they inform us like they did the last time. I received a package from my Uncle Dean and Aunt Stacee so I wanted to say thank you very much for that. I'm not sure if the pictures are up yet, but I know that George is working on it as you read, so hopefully they'll be up soon. Well things here are going well and I hope you all are fine too. Thank you so much for the mail, support, and prayers. God bless you all.
